Today it begins. I used to be a photographer. As silly as that sounds that is the case. I sold all my gear after working as a photojournalist and owning a small studio to start a new career as a teacher, father, and husband, all of which has been great, but recently I have been bitten by the bug again. I have started investing a bunch of money back in to my gear and have begun to see the world through the eyes of a lens again. I have forgotten how much fun it is!
Well today my newest shipment arrived. A gently used Canon 70-200 f4 IS and a 1.4 teleconverter. So what better plays to give it a run than at the high school baseball game. I haven't shot a baseball game in over 10 years, but man was it a blast! So it has inspired me to stop lurking around here and start playing. I may not make it on a daily basis, but for now, I am going to make an effort to post something every couple of days. The more I shoot, the better I feel, the happier I am, and the better father, husband, and teacher I become. So thanks all for the inspiration to step out and enjoy something I have always loved but seem to have forgotten to enjoy!
