These are from a collection of photos I have had stashed away for many years now collected by my great uncle Louis Pandy. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Africa, Italy, and into Germany. While I was a young boy he would tell me stories of his service and he was a great man. Unfortunately he passed away when I was only 12 so much of what I remember is tempered in youth, but none the less, these pictures bring alive the things he saw and the things he never spoke. How he came across many of these photos, I will never know, others are from his personal collection. I only wish I knew the stories behind the photos and the names of the men he served with.
